

Functions
The Ipswich Turf Club has a number of rooms for hire which are suitable for groups between 10 and 170 needing a fully catered venue for any of the following:
- Conferences
- Seminars
- Training Programmes
- Trade Shows
- Product Launches
- Weddings
- School Formals
- Parties
The Eyeliner Lounge is the showpiece of these rooms and has capacity for theatre style or banquet style for Corporate dining. Additionally, the fully licensed bar is available if beverages are required after the function.
General Booking Information

· A deposit of $200 is required within 14 days to confirm a tentative booking.

· There is no charge for the hire of the function room when numbers of 70 guests are reached.

· Time allocation for each function is six hours, however it is possible to have your function extend past this period if a $100 per hour (or part there of) fee is paid (subject to time availability).

· A surcharge will apply where there are less than 70 guests.

· Tables hold eight to ten guests. White linen table cloths and napkins are provided.

· It is your responsibility to provide place cards, flowers and any other specific decorations required for your function should you not choose an all inclusive package.

· The catering & beverage account must be settled five days prior to your function. Should a bar tab be chosen it must settled on the night.

· Should a function be cancelled, 75% of the initial deposit will be refunded should the room be rebooked.

· Prices quoted on the menu list are current prices (GST inclusive) and are subject to change without notice.

· A surcharge of $800.00 will be payable on Sundays and public Holidays

· Under the provisions of the Licensing Commission, liquor cannot be brought into or removed from the Ipswich Turf Club.

· Cutting & bagging of your cake is performed free of charge if you supply cake bags. If you require your cake to be plated and served a charge of $2.50 per person will apply

· The hirer is financially responsible for any damage suffered to the club property during the function.

· The club will take all necessary care but cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of property left on club premises before, during or after functions. Responsibility for any insurances lies with the hirer if he or she so desires.

· The hirer should make an appointment at least three weeks prior to their function to arrange menu selections and discuss all other function requirements.

· Please fill out the booking form and forward it to the club. A booking will only be confirmed after receipt of the deposit and along with a completed booking form, which complies with the above information.

· 21st Birthday parties,18th Birthday Parties and other function deemed high risk by the Ipswich Turf Club are required to pay a fee of $350.00 per 50 patrons or part there of for security personnel.
